Jatimulyo, 02 December 2023 – KTH Wanapaksi commemorates its 5th anniversary. The KTH Wanapaksi birthday celebration was held at Omah Shaungan Kopi Sulingan on Saturday 02 December 2023.
At this KTH Wanapaksi 2023 birthday celebration, approximately 70 people were present, both from its own members and several invited guests from KTH Wanapaksi partners, namely the Indonesian Kanopi Foundation and the Indonesian Bisa Foundation.
Sujarwo as chairman of KTH Wanapaksi said in his speech, thanking all members and invited guests who were willing to attend the KTH Wanapaksi anniversary event, hopefully on this 5th anniversary KTH Wanapaksi will continue to develop and get better in the future, the community will also become more prosperous .
Sujarwo also reported the accountability report of the management and KTH Wanapaksi's programs, both those that have been achieved and those that have not been implemented in 2023. These programs include institutions, increasing human resource capacity, business and services, conservation and arts and culture. Sujarwo also reported that the funds received amounted to IDR 354,309,000, both from CSR and others.
Management accountability reports were also submitted from several KTH Wanapaksi management coordinators. From the financial coordinator, Priyono (treasurer) reported that money coming in for 1 year had increased by around 2% from the previous year.
The conservation coordinator, Kasidi, reported that in 1 year the number of bird nest adoptions was 19 nests from 13 bird species, the number of chicks that succeeded in flying was 22 and 6 chicks failed.
Marketing coordinator, Darna Wijaya, reported that the number of visits in 1 year was 809 people. There were 611 student visits and 198 general visits.
Youth coordinator, Amelia reported that this division has collaborated with Tourism Village, Kanopi Foundation and Bisa Indonesia. Then participate as a beginner level DIY conservation cadre and activity outing class.
From the women's coordinator, Sri Wahyani conveyed the activities that had been carried out, including: forming a cooking group, managing a homestay, innovating to process various snacks, and making dekon.
Then finally, the public relations coordinator, Supangat, said that the public relations division had carried out outreach to the community, coordinated with related parties when carrying out activities and introduced them to the importance of conservation.
In carrying out the KTH Wanapaksi program we adhere to the principles of egalitarian, transparent and innovative. The hope is that this organization remains harmonious, humanistic and adaptive to achieve its goals.
Before the tumpeng cutting ceremony, birthday greetings were also delivered from the Indonesian Kanopi Foundation and the Indonesian Bisa Foundation.

Arriving at the peak of the event, namely the procession of cutting the tumpeng and praying together. The prayer reading procession was led by Mr. Naruh, followed by all members of KTH Wanapaksi and invited guests. This was carried out with wisdom, so that what was expected of the KTH Wanapaksi group would always be made easier by the creator. Then the tumpeng was cut by the chairman of KTH Wanapaksi which was then given to the elder of KTH Wanapaksi, namely Mr. Sarip, and continued with eating together.
The series of KTH Wanapaksi birthday events which were held at Omah Shaungan Kopi Dilingan ended. Hopefully in the future KTH Wanapaksi will be more unified, better at carrying out its programs and become a better known organization both nationally and internationally.
